What is unique about Radiant?
Our Mission
Motivate all Radiant children to be independent, responsible and happy by creating and fostering a safe and structured learning environment.
Our Philosophy
We incorporate the Montessori method of education in our programs by using specially designed Montessori materials to motivate and engage children in language, sensory, practical life, math, culture and geography activities.
Our Focus
We focus on keeping children engaged meaningfully and stimulating them both mentally and physically. When children focus on structured activities, they become calm and are able to follow instructions.
Igniting the spark of genius in every child
As you typed those keywords to search care for your child in Maple Grove, did you notice how many websites popped up on your screen? Making the right choice is not always easy. How do you pick the care and education that is right for your child? This page will tell you a little bit about Radiant—just enough to make you curious—so that you will take some time to learn more about what Radiant offers.
Radiant is family-owned and operate only in Maple Grove. We serve children ages 6 weeks to 6 years in our Infant, Toddler, and Children’s House (Preschool) Classrooms. We offer only full-time programs for all age groups.
All the materials, manipulatives, and other implements are child sized and easily accessible to children.
Numbers don’t lie. Radiant Montessori started in 2008, amidst an economic “recession,” in the back of a small church building with just 2 children! 7 years later, Radiant built its own building with 6 beautiful classrooms, 2 playgrounds, and an indoor large muscle room. Radiant is today licensed to accommodate 116 children with a staff of 23.

Looking for school readiness? That is our business.
Radiant believes in four “pillars” to support children's growth and happiness.
-
Experiential Learning
We help children connect with their surroundings in new ways, so they discover what is meaningful to them in the moment and in the future.
-
Community
A child’s educational success in large part depends on families, educators, peers and relevant members of the community.
-
Collaboration
Sharing new experiences and solving problems with others leads to a greater sense of connectedness – as well as meaningful learning experiences.
-
Proven Models
The human connection must be a key component of learning. Montessori method encourages a healthy connection between the Child and the Teacher (Guide) who encourages and guides rather than "teaching" in a traditional sense.
