Our Programs
Our exclusive curricula - incorporating the Montessori concepts and the use of Montessori materials - enable teachers to create personalized learning experiences, for every age group. Our teachers encourage older children to lead the younger, and thereby instill a sense of leadership in the older kids and reinforce what they learned earlier. Younger children are more willing to learn through their peers than from adults!
There are many childcare and preschool options in Minnesota. For some parents, it is just a place where their child is safe and looked after while they are at work. But some demand more. And they come to us!
We teach our children to develop a lifelong love of learning. Click here to see a Powerpoint

33 Months – 6 Years
Children’s House – Preschool/KG
Teachers:
- Children’s House 1 – Lily, Ann, Trinity, Sasheeka, and Ivon
- Children’s House 2 – Bawani, and Regina
- Children’s House 3 – Emilee, and Christina
Your child will receive Montessori lessons in the areas of sensorial (training of the senses), language arts, mathematics, and cultural studies/geography. The Montessori method makes all this possible with a lot of fun for the child. Montessori’s unique methodology makes it possible for the child to learn at his or her own pace with more independence than you would ordinarily expect from a child at this age.
Children’s House, commonly known in the childcare industry as Preschool Classroom, admits children aged 3-6 years. The Montessori teacher is known as a “Guide” and is an inconspicuous, yet discreetly influential part of the classroom. At Radiant, we clearly organize the Montessori curriculum. There are little corners for children to read; to work on lessons; and to relax. This beautiful environment that is uniquely structured and organized for children is traditionally known as a “Children’s House” in Montessori circles.

24 Months - 32 Months
Toddler
Teachers: Lola Sinjem, Sofie and Sam
Your little toddler is busy learning, approaching the world with curiosity and seeking a sense of belonging. Our toddler program encourages the children to build a community in an environment that supports learning together and caring for each other.
The toddlers eat meals at tables together and enjoy an open concept playroom with free play and weekly activities that promote exploration and learning. The children play daily in the outdoor playground, or on days when the weather doesn’t cooperate, they’ll play in our large indoor gym. During the summer, experiences such as a petting zoo and puppet shows are brought into the centre.

16 Months - Toddler Room
Transition Room
Teachers: Abby, Marie, Skylar, Joey and Zada
This is where your older infant transitions to the toddler room. We make the transitioning experience a pleasant and safe one for your child. They continue to practice what they learned earlier and start learning new practical life and sensorial skills.
At this age, children learn using their bodies, senses, and their emerging problem-solving skills. Transition age group children constantly look for answers in their surroundings, absorb information rapidly and easily, and love to show off their independence to their peers and adults. This is the age of sensory exploration.
Maria Montessori, who first taught using the Montessori Method, recognized that the first few years of a child’s life are most important in the development of their individual personality and intellectual ability.

6 Weeks -15 Months
Infants
Teachers: Tasha, Laurice, Brea, and Sofia Lara
Infants learn by touching, tasting, and moving in their surroundings. Supporting their freedom to move and explore is essential to their development.
For example, in his or her first lesson, the child may drop an object into an open bucket and listen to the sound. Next, the child may drop spindles into a container with a large opening, learning to drop an object to a place of his or her choice. Next, the teacher may encourage the child to drop a straw through a small opening of a closed container. These activities are simple. Yet they powerfully stimulate the infant’s intellect.
We support our infants’ physical development through activities like tummy time, working on rolling over, and encouraging infants to sit up and reach for objects. We also incorporate art and music.
